Mrs. LaVigne and Mr. Dimen recently led 6th graders in an extended math activity to build and practice academic work habits to enhance math learning and application. With other 4th grade to high school teachers from other districts, Mrs. LaVigne and Mr. Dimen attended a week-long seminar this summer. DESE sponsored this class to help teachers learn and apply Math Practices from the Common Core. They will be facilitating these math projects throughout the year to promote good work habits, perseverance, precision, communication and collaboration among students.
